I have another model that works fairly well, but the foam seems to dissolve fairly quickly when it is spooned onto the coffee. The item arrived bent. I did get a refund, but Amazon and the supplier refused to replace it, so the outcome was that I have to order it all over again.
It works really well with skim and low fat milk. this was recommended to me by my sister.
Clean up is very easy - wash it off and then spin it under its own power to spin off the water, stick it in the case which has some tiny holes in the bottom for air flow to prevent moisture from building up, and stick it in the drawer. It is quick and does a fantastic job as creating a fine froth that doesn't deflate and is indistinguishable from steamed froth. I was skeptical that this little thing would do a good job so I also ordered another frother at the same time I ordered this one. The other one barely worked, but the Aerolatte To Go works really really well.
But, I have a stand from a previous frother and I don't allow my kids to touch it. I have ordered several of these. They are a bit delicate - can't get banged around or they will break.
It whips up milk in no time at all - don't need to use the cappucino maker. I have a metal one and also bought this one for my mom to take back to the UK. It is so portable and light - no weight at all.
